1. General Information

Welcome to Sunset Place 144, situated in Benoni, Johannesburg, South Africa. You agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions by confirming your reservation with us. These conditions are established to ensure a pleasant and secure experience for all our guests.

2. Booking and Payment

To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is requisite. The remaining balance must be settled before or upon arrival. Please note that we retain the right to withhold card fees (transaction costs) in case of a cancellation or if funds must be reverted to a credit card. At check-in time, the cardholder must be present and have a valid ID or Passport. Additionally, the credit card used for the online payment must be presented at check-in. Long-term stays exceeding 30 days are subject to specific terms and conditions, which will be communicated during the booking process.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the check-in date will warrant a full refund, excluding any transaction fees. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. In the event of a "no-show" or early departure, the full reservation amount will be charged. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method. Transaction fees will not be refunded.

4. Check-In/Check-Out

Check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Late check-ins must be prearranged. Check-out time is by 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may be subject to an additional fee if not pre-arranged.

5. Pool Use

Sunset Place 144 boasts a small pool heated by a heat pump. Please note that it may take several hours to reach a comfortable temperature. Pool hours are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. To maintain a tranquil environment for other guests, no late-night swimming is permitted. Guests are responsible for supervising children and ensuring they do not swim alone. For safety reasons, no glassware or breakable items are allowed in the pool area. Use of the pool is at your own risk. We do not assume liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages occurring in or around the pool.

6. House Rules

No parties or events are permitted. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of other guests and neighbors. The maximum occupancy is [Insert Maximum Occupancy]. Any additional guests must be pre-approved and may incur an extra charge. Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made.

7. Damage and Breakages

Guests are accountable for any damages, breakages, or loss of items during their stay. We retain the right to charge for any repairs, replacements, or additional cleaning necessitated due to guest negligence. A security deposit of R3000 may be required and will be refunded within 7 working days after check-out, provided no damage or extra cleaning is necessary. In the event of extensive damage or loss, we reserve the right to pursue further compensation if the deposit does not cover the full cost of repair or replacement.

8. Liability

Sunset Place 144 is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings, including theft, during your stay. We recommend securing valuables. Guests must use the facilities at their own risk and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and that of their companions.

9. COVID-19 Policy

Guests must adhere to all local and national health regulations during their stay. If you feel unwell or exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 before your stay, please inform us as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

10. Privacy Policy

Guest information will be handled with confidentiality. However, we may need to share certain information with third parties for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
