Sunset Place 144: Booking Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Sunset Place 144, located in Benoni, Johannesburg, South Africa. By booking a stay with us through any booking platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions, designed to ensure a pleasant and smooth experience.
1. Booking and Payment
A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. A 50% deposit may be charged when booking and the remaining balance is due prior to or upon arrival.
Guests must present a photo ID and the credit card used for the booking at check-in. The cardholder must be present.
Special requests (such as early check-in, late check-out, or specific accommodations) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
We reserve the right to withhold transaction costs and fees in cases of cancellation or if a refund to the original payment method is necessary.
Guests will receive a rental agreement, which must be signed and returned before arrival. If you do not receive the agreement on time, please contact us using the details in your booking confirmation.
2. Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Guests must inform us of their expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact us directly.
A hostess will greet you upon arrival, provide important information, and hand over the keys to the property.
Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may be available upon request but are subject to additional fees.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under the age of 18 to check-in.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund, excluding any transaction fees.
Cancellations within 14 days of the check-in date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
In case of a "no-show" or early departure, the full amount of the booking will be charged.
4. House Rules
Sunset Place 144 is a family-friendly environment. Hen, stag, or similar parties are not allowed.
Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect other guests and neighbours during this time.
The property accommodates a maximum number of [Insert Maximum Occupancy] guests. Additional guests must be approved in advance and may incur extra charges.
Guests ensure that children are always supervised, especially in the pool area.
5. Pool Use
The property includes a small pool heated by a heat pump. Please note that it may take several hours to warm to a comfortable temperature.
Pool hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and guests are expected to comply with these hours for safety and consideration of others.
The pool is for registered guests only. No glassware or breakable items are allowed near the pool area.
Guests use the pool at their own risk. We are not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur in or around the pool.
6. Liability and Damages
Guests are responsible for any damages or breakages during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repairs, replacements, or additional cleaning required due to guest negligence.
A security deposit may be required, and it will be refunded within 7 working days after check-out, provided no damage or extra cleaning is necessary.
Sunset Place 144 is not responsible for losing or damaging personal belongings during your stay. Guests are advised to secure their valuables.
7. Guest Responsibilities
The booking person is responsible for ensuring that all guests adhere to these terms and conditions.
Guests are required to leave the property clean and orderly. Excessive cleaning or damage beyond normal wear and tear will incur additional charges.
8. Special Requests
Special requests such as early check-ins, additional equipment, or specific needs are subject to availability and must be communicated in advance. Additional fees may apply.
9. Compliance with Laws
Guests are required to comply with local laws and property rules. Any illegal activities or violations of these terms will result in immediate termination of the booking without a refund.
